the camp felt really organized overall. pickup was quick and easy, which made the whole experience stress-free.

My kid definitely picked up some useful outdoor skills, like tying knots and feeling more comfortable on trails. Some of the instructors were really great, but then you’d get others who seemed a little rushed or not as engaged. Overall, I’d say it was okay, just not quite as hands-on as you’d hope for the price

I was in a hopeful mood when we arrived, thinking my kid would have a fun time and feel included. But it didn’t really turn out that way. The staff were friendly enough, but they didn’t make much of an effort to bring my kid into the activities, so they ended up seeming more left out than excited. We left feeling disappointed...

We tried avid4 for my kid this summer, I was really happy with how many activities they offered. They got to do biking, climbing, paddling, and a bunch of other outdoor stuff, so it never seemed like they were stuck doing the same thing every day. My kid came home wiped out but in a good mood. I’m giving 4 stars because the schedule was a little confusing at the beginning, but overall it was a really good experience.

I had a feeling this was going to be overpriced for what you get, that’s exactly how it felt. After using it, I still don’t see where the money went. Just not worth it in my opinion.

My kid did have a good time overall, but I never felt totally comfortable with the safety side of things. They kept saying supervision and pickup procedures were "handled" or "taken seriously," but it all felt vague in practice. A few times the supervision seemed a little thin, and pickup was more confusing than it should’ve been. Maybe it was just our week, but I expected clearer checks and a more organized system when it comes to kids...

This place just didn’t really work for us. The location felt too far out and it wasn’t very easy to get to, plus parking ended up being more of a pain than expected. The facilities were basic and didn’t feel especially well looked after, more like they were just getting by with what they had. For what we paid, I expected a bit more. When I brought up the issues, support made it feel like it was somehow our fault for not knowing better, which was frustrating. I wouldn’t book again...

The instructor didn’t really seem prepared, the way they handled things came off a bit rude. I kept feeling like I wasn’t sure what was going on or what was expected, so I was kind of left in the dark for most of the class.

The drop-off and pickup process was a bit confusing, and pickup took way longer than I expected. Something about it just felt more complicated than it needed to be.

Pretty good camp overall. After a few days, my son came home acting braver and a lot more sure of himself. It was really nice to see.

I booked through Avid4 and the gear was the biggest letdown. The helmet felt like it had seen maybe 5+ seasons, the straps were a pain to adjust, and one of the bikes had brakes that felt off enough that I didn’t really trust them.

The staff were nice and seemed to be trying, but for the price, around what I’d expect for a higher-quality setup, the equipment should’ve been in better shape. I spent half the day worrying something was going to snap or fail, which took a lot of the fun out of it. I probably wouldn’t book again unless they replace or seriously tune up their gear.

The communication was disappointing. I reached out and waited what felt like quite a while, but no one really got back to me. Most of the time, it just felt like I was being ignored
